Hi, I’m Saharsh Kamma — a problem-solver at heart with a passion for discovering the logic behind the markets, the math that governs the world, and the code that brings ideas to life.
I’m currently pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Mathematical Finance at UC Irvine, where I’m building the foundation for a career in quantitative trading. My academic background, including AP credits in Computer Science A, Computer Science Principles, Calculus AB/BC, and Physics C, allows me to dive deeper and faster into advanced concepts in algorithms, modeling, and financial systems.
Whether it’s designing machine learning models, writing algorithms to dissect data trends, or researching market dynamics, I treat every challenge like a puzzle — a problem waiting to be broken down and solved. I’m especially drawn to the intersection of theoretical math and real-world finance, where logic meets unpredictability, and precision meets human behavior.
Outside the classroom, I’ve led projects and organizations that reflect my passion:
- President of the Lancer Analytics Club, where I fostered a community of curious minds exploring data-driven insights.
- Co-founder of the Mechanical Engineering Club, because building things — from code to hardware — has always excited me.
- Board Member of the AI & ML Club, where I’ve collaborated on projects that push the frontier of intelligent systems.
This blog is my space to share ideas, insights, and explorations across mathematics, computer science, and finance. Whether I’m breaking down a stochastic calculus concept, writing about the logic behind algorithmic trading, or experimenting with new machine learning tools, I want to make these subjects approachable, engaging, and — above all — useful.
Thanks for stopping by. Let’s decode complexity, one idea at a time.
